- Did you get the SCSI cable flipped between the board and the drive?
- Look very carefully to identify where pin 1 is on the board and on
- the drive. You may just need to reverse one end of your SCSI cable.
- Other possibilities are that the ribbon cable or SCSI drive may be
- bad. Have you verified that they work on another controller?
- I swapped out the IDE with a 50M Quantum SCSI drive in my sisters
- A590 and it worked perfectly the first time.
